THE COURSE
The course will examine, in a comparative context, topics of contemporary and world-wide concern in the context of Australian Legal System. These issues will be explored in the format of student-led seminar discussions of primary and secondary texts. Students in this course will gain a comparative overview of the legal systems of Australia including Criminal Law and Process, Law of Contract, Ocean Law and Governance, Maritime Security and Marine Resources and Constitutional Law.
THE PARTICIPANTS
Up to two students will be selected as the participants to join the course supported by lecturers from the Faculty of law, Brawijaya University. The selected participants will get:
- All expenses covered by the Faculty of law (including return airfare ticket, visa fee and accommodation)
- Living allowances
SCA 2015 REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY
The candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Never previously join student exchange funded by the Faculty of Law, Brawijaya University
- Law students of the class of 2011-2014
- Minimum GPA of 3.00
- Submit abstract in English min. 200 words under the topics Criminal Law and Process, Law of Contract, Ocean Law and Governance, Maritime Security and Marine Resources and Constitutional Law.
- TOEFL score min. 500
